3 teams from CCS took part in the ‘Pi Competition’, run by the Irish Mathematics Teachers’ Association, in Rathcoole yesterday. The competition is based on a team of 4 students working together to solve mathematical problems based on the Junior Cycle Higher level Maths syllabus. CCS came out on top, with our remaining 2 teams tying for 3rd place. The winning team of Raul Gherghelas, Ciarán Gilchrist, Milena Rogacz, Lucia Svybova will now go through to the National Final in Portlaoise on April the 22nd. Well done! We wish them luck!
